PCE-HT-225A Roll Hardness Testing Instrument
PCE-HT-225A is a roll hardness testing instrument or paper roll testing hammer, also called a roll hammer or Swiss hammer, used for non-destructive measurement of surface hardness and compressive strength. Suitable for use with rolled paper, concrete, rock, and building materials, this manufacturer-calibrated manual roll hammer is economical, practical, and easy to use.
The quality of rolled paper is primarily judged based on its compressive strength, since compressive strength is directly responsible for the structural behavior and durability of rolled paper. For measuring roll hardness in psi, download the table to convert the rebound value to psi. Optional test anvil listed under accessories to verify accuracy.
– Conversion tables for Kg/cm², psi, and MPa on the back of the instrument and in the user manual
– Manufacturer-calibrated – ISO calibration certificate available as an option (see accessories)
– Ideal for use in rolled paper testing, construction, structural engineering, and material strength testing
– Includes a two-year warranty against manufacturer defects
– Optional test anvil to verify accuracy listed under accessories
