Hormonal Profile
Laboratory service for the quantitative determination of key hormones involved in one of the following profiles:
Sports
Weight Loss
Stress
Sleep
What are They?
Hormones are produced by endocrine glands and, through blood circulation and biological fluids, reach the cells of various organs and tissues, regulating their functions.
They act as chemical messengers in the body’s biological processes: metabolism, growth, development, blood pressure, blood sugar levels, heart rate, body temperature, fluid volume and salt percentage, sexual desire, reproduction, energy utilization and storage, sleep cycles, and anti-aging processes.
When the level of one or more hormones is low or high, hormonal imbalances occur.
Symptoms
This is a slow and gradual “intoxication” that causes a range of symptoms: excess weight, headaches, metabolic problems, skin problems, gastritis and/or colitis, water retention, intestinal problems, fatigue, bloating, insomnia…
